10 Beer Events Brewing This Week in Milwaukee: April 28-May 2

The craft beer landscape is still virtual, but the locals are clever and there are plenty of beer-related activities to participate in.

Tuesday, April 28

This “event” is actually every day until early May. Props to New Barons Brewing Cooperative for creating New Barons Bartender Cheers. Head to the Facebook page, send a “cheers” mentioning your favorite bartender and they have a chance to win a little cash to help get through this rough patch.

MobCraft is starting a virtual book club, which will meet for six weeks to discuss Josh Noel’s excellent book, Barrel-Aged Stout and Selling Out. For $25 you get to join the intelligent conversation and you get a bomber of Padishah Barrel-Aged Stout. You also get 10% off of any MobCraft barrel-aged beer while the book club is in session.

Wednesday, April 29

The Milwaukee Beer Society has been going virtual. This week the Virtual Brewery Spotlight shines on Westallion Brewing. Hop on Zoom from 6 to 8:30 p.m. and hear from Westallion owners Erik and Kim Dorfner. Learn about their beer and pick some up curbside over the weekend.
