WE MAY NOT BE ABLE to go out for Cinco de Mayo this year, but there are still plenty of ways to have fun during this special day! Did we mention it falls on a Taco Tuesday? All the more reason to check out these virtual events:
Similar to bingo, Loteria is a traditional Mexican board game. Grab your social distancing buddies and get in the Cinco de Mayo spirit! Check out how to play here.
Order via Toast | May 5 from 5:30-6:00 P.M.
Get a Cinco de Mayo kit full of goodies from MobCraft Beer, Mama’s Boy Salsa and Juiced Cold-Pressed Juicery. Then, join them on Zoom at 5:30 P.M. for a Cinco de Mayo toast and a beer-ga-rita mixing demo. But don’t worry! If you can’t make the Zoom, a beer-ga-rita mixing sheet is included.
Milwaukee Public Market | Postponed to a later date
Keep an eye out for this event in the coming months. It’s never too late to celebrate Cinco de Mayo!
Mr. J’s Lounge Live Jazz Blues and R&B (4610 W. Fond du Lac Ave.) | May 5 from 5-9 P.M.
Get your fix of tacos, nachos, and more prepared by Ms. Stacie Bell, hence the name!
Blue Bat Kitchen & Tequileria (249 N. Water St.) | May 5 from 11:30 A.M. to 7:30 P.M.
Not your traditional Cinco de Mayo event, but these aren’t your typical life circumstances. As Blue Bat Kitchen & Tequilaria says, “We feel like we’re missing out on our own dang party this year. BUT, that doesn’t mean we can’t celebrate at home the same way we did for National Margarita and National Tequila Day.” Order one of their Cinco de Mayo party packs for carry out and have a Zoom party with your friends!
