Milwaukee: home to the Brewers, Cream City brick, the next Democratic Convention and the world’s largest music festival. 414 Day, or April 14th, is our day, Milwaukee Day. Here’s how to observe.

Boswell Celebrates Milwaukee Day

The Milwaukee Anthology comprises essays penned by several Milwaukee-based writers about the triumphs and travails of Milwaukee life. Editor Justin Kern presents the new book at Boswell Books on Milwaukee’s big day. What better way to celebrate than with a good a book, good friends and some of the best stories of Milwaukee?

Milwaukee Day Showcase

Come out to The Cooperage and play yard games on the patio, hear some poetry by Kavon Cortez-Jones and listen to an exciting lineup prepared just for 414 day. From the city’s own Platinum Boys, Klassik, Joseph Huber and more, you’ll have the perfect ending to a perfect Milwaukee Day. The show will also have booths for local non-profit organizations.

X-Ray Arcade: Direct Hit / Rational / ‘83 Wolfpack

Join the party down at X-Ray Arcade for an all-ages show featuring local bands Direct Hit and Rational. And because everyone in the states is excited to share 414 day, you can also catch ‘83 Wolfpack, a Minneapolis-based band. If you’re over 21, there’s trivia at noon for you. Don’t miss it!

414 Pint Glass

Too Much Metal worked with Good City Brewing to bring the best souvenir of the day back for 2019. Pre-order and pick up a 414 pint glass with this year’s theme, the Milwaukee Bucks, for only $10. And pick up even more Milwaukee swag from Too Much Metal’s Fred Gillich, who will be selling 414 Flags, hats, shirts and stickers as well.

414 Day at Cactus Club

Enjoy even more Milwaukee-based music and beer at 414 Day at Cactus Club. Come see Genesis Renji, Camb, Nile, Sharrod Sloans and more! The event is hosted by SGOD Jayy, with music from DJ SnackDaddy.

Milwaukee Day Party at Pabst

Celebrate the most wonderful time of the year by joining Pabst Brewery for the biggest party yet! Catch shows by Milwaukee favorites Breaking and Entering, Tigernite, Midwest Death Rattle and Beach Static. Food will be provided by Great Lakes Galley at Pabst Brewery, noon to 9 p.m. Plus, there’s a bonus after party DJ set by BestFriends.

MKE Local Market 414 Day Pop Up

Find one-of-a-kind pieces made by 20 local artists at this Milwaukee Day pop up shop at Third Branch Creative studio! Enjoy food and drinks by DRIFT MKE. Plus, join a raffle for some giveaway prizes, with all proceeds going to Milwaukee Rescue Mission.

Milwaukee Day at Harley-Davidson

Admission to the Harley-Davidson Museum is $4.14 all day long. There will also be special deals in the gift shop for only $4.14, and cheeseburgers at MOTOR® Bar & Restaurant, also on special for $4.14.

4-14 Milwaukee Day Party at Great Lakes Distillery

The local distillery is releasing a new coffee liqueur (with special cocktails to boot), offering free tours for those dressed as Wayne’s World‘s Wayne and/or Garth, and more festivities.
