Get up close and personal to falcons, hawks, owls and a bald eagle while sampling craft beer on Thursday, April 12 at Schlitz Audubon Center (1111 E. Brown Deer Rd.). Participating breweries include Black Husky Brewing, Company Brewing, Enlightened Brewing Company, Good City Brewing, Lakefront Brewery, Milwaukee Brewing Co. and Saint Francis Brewing Co. Food will also be provided by Tall Guy and a Grill. Tickets are $60 and go toward Schlitz’s Raptor Program.
This floral fete takes root at the Milwaukee Art Museum (700 N. Art Museum Dr.) every April, when art-inspired floral installations sprout up throughout the museum. From Thursday, April 12 through Sunday, April 15, visitors can shop for flower-powered accessories at a pop-up market and attend presentations on flowers, food and sustainability.
Join over 150 artists, crafters and DIY-ers at this two-day shopping event at the Milwaukee County Sports Complex (6000 W. Ryan Rd., Franklin) on Saturday, April 14 and Sunday, April 15. Browse handmade, upcycled and vintage goods or head to the DIY workspace station, where you can purchase your own project kits to complete onsite or take them home to finish another day.
This trade show celebrates all things gaming-related, from retro arcade games and air hockey to collectible card games and pinball machines. From Friday, April 13 to Sunday, April 15, you’ll find over 100,000 square feet of gaming competitions, food, presentations, shopping and just about every type of game out there at the Wisconsin Center (400 W. Wisconsin Ave.).
