Brew City Confidential: An Anniversary

Celebrate the 1-year anniversary of the Brew City MKE beer museum at the Milwaukee County Historical Society. On Thursday, October 4, you’ll have the chance to receive an exclusive tour and learn all the “confidential” information about Brew City MKE you never knew.

Exercise for a cause on Saturday, October 6, at the 29th Annual AIDS Walk. The largest HIV fundraising event in Wisconsin has raised over $13.1 million for the fight against AIDS. Your contribution will help give those living with AIDS access to life-saving health care and social programs.

Milwaukee Lakefront Marathon

On Sunday, October 7, runners throughout Milwaukee will be making their way from Grafton High School to the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan. The course travels through rural countryside and quiet neighborhoods — with restrooms, first aid and water along the way.

Although it’s not Halloween yet, you can get dressed up early and head to Sci-Fi Family Day at Discovery World. This Saturday, October 6, the museum will be filled with costumes, props, displays and lots of famous characters from the sci-fi world.
