Dubbed as one of rock n roll’s greatest independent bands, Dispatch will be making their way to Turner Hall Ballroom on Friday, November 30, for a night of great music and good energy.

Straight No Chaser

This isn’t your typical a Capella group. These nine talented men create powerful sound that is captivating and moving, and also bring a sense of humor. On, Saturday, December 1, see for yourself why they have taken the world by storm at the Riverside Theater.

One of the greatest Christmas tales ever told will be returning to Milwaukee this Tuesday, November 27, through December 24.

MIAD Sale of Student Art

Support local artists and students this weekend at the 8th annual MIAD holiday sale. Proceeds from the sale support over 100 artists and designers and help MIAD student scholarships. The sale begins Thursday, November 29, and ends Saturday, December 1.

Marquette Christmas Concerts

This Saturday, December 1, and Sunday, December 2, join the Marquette Chorus, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensembles, Symphonic Band and Orchestra at the MU Chorus Christmas Concert, the Music Area Holiday Concert, and the annual Lessons & Carols Concert. After all, the best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear!

Andrea Gibson at Boswell

On Saturday, December 1, poet Andrea Gibson visits Boswell Books for a short reading from her book, Lord of the Butterflies. There will also be a conversation after the reading with Andrea and Audrey Nowakowski of WUWM’s Lake Effect.

Miller Holiday Lights

For 15 years, Miller Lite has been lighting up the valley and giving Milwaukee residents an out-of-this-world experience through their Holiday Lites experience. The magic returns on Friday, November 30, and goes through December 22.

Christmas in the Ward

This Friday, November 30, help celebrate the 30th anniversary of an old tradition and Milwaukee holiday favorite. There will be a tree lighting, fireworks, Santa and live reindeer to help kick off the holiday fun.

Christmas Around Milwaukee Bakery Bus Tour

Hop aboard the bakery bus and try (or buy) various holiday treats and sweets from bakeries all around the city! Tour-goers will also get to learn about different ethnic holiday traditions while en route. Tours begin this Saturday, December 1.

Santa Hustle

Get your holiday hustle on this Sunday, December 2, at the Santa Hustle 5K run. All participants will receive a Santa hat & beard, 5K finisher medal and a performance hoodie.
