1. Wakanda Wellness Week Fashion Show 2024 

FRIDAY FROM 6-10 P.M. | THE SOCIETY @ THE MILWAUKEE COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY  

Milwaukee’s top fashion designers are set to honor and showcase Black culture, its legacy and contributions to activism and art on the runway. As a part of the annual Wakanda Wellness Week 2024, attendees can expect a night of culture, fashion and community. Tickets are available online

2. Fall Colors Hike & Supper Club   

FRIDAY FROM 4-9:30 P.M. | FORWARD OUTDOOR  

Take in the fall colors with a 2-mile hike of the Pine Lake trails, and then enjoy traditional Wisconsin Friday fish fry at the historic Copper Dock. Tickets are available online and include transportation, the hike, snacks, dinner and a drink. 

3. United We Dance: The Ultimate Rave Experience

4. Spirits of the Silent City: Dead Reckoning   

FRIDAY AND SATURDAY FROM 6-9:30 P.M. | FOREST HOME CEMETERY & ARBORETUM  

This is the first of two weekends of an after-hours journey through the historic Forest Home Cemetery & Arboretum. “Spirit guides” lead visitors through the cemetery, where reenactors tell the stories of the deceased. Tickets are available online

5. Sylph – A Contemporary Ballet Premiere  

FRIDAY AT 7:30 P.M. AND SATURDAY AT 2 P.M. AND 7:30 P.M. | JAN SERR STUDIO  

The Dawn Springer Dance Projects is set to premier Sylph this weekend. The contemporary dance performance examines the humanity behind the rigor of ballet. Tickets are available online.

6. Halloween Legends & Lore  

FRIDAY AND SATURDAY FROM 5:30-9:30 P.M. | OLD WORLD WISCONSIN  

This is the first of three spook-tacular weekends at the Crossroads Village at Old World Wisconsin. Visitors will experience scary folktales, haunted histories, Halloween activities and more. Tickets are available for purchase online, and admission is free for kids under 5 years old. 

7. Limb Shaker Day  

SATURDAY FROM 12-10 P.M. | GATHERING PLACE BREWING COMPANY  

Gathering Place Brewing is hosting its eighth annual Limb Shaker Day, celebrating the return of one of the brewery’s favorite seasonal brews. Stop by for a glass. 

8. Becky G – Casa Gomez: Otro Capítulo 2024 Tour

Award winning singer, songwriter and actress Becky G is making her way to Milwaukee this weekend for her Otro Capítulo 2024 Tour. She’ll perform a setlist of songs from her 2023 album Esquinas. Tickets are available online

9. Fall into Grafton

This free family-friendly event returns this weekend. This year, a new mini golf course has been added to the lineup of other fall activities and live entertainment, including a pumpkin derby. 

10. Milwaukee Public Market’s Harvest Festival

Family-friendly fun is on the books to celebrate the Milwaukee Public Market’s 19th anniversary. You’ll find food, seasonal drinks like Lakefront Brewery’s Pumpkin Ale, live music and a mini harvest market.

11. Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live Glow Party

For the first time at Fiserv Forum, fans of all ages can watch their favorite Hot Wheels Monster Trucks in the dark, lit up with glow paint at this action-packed derby. Tickets are available online

12. Milwaukee Empty Bowls 

SUNDAY FROM 11 A.M.-3 P.M. | KERN CENTER   

Empty Bowls fights for food justice while bringing the community together. This fundraiser and tasting event is free to attend with the option to purchase a handcrafted bowl that comes with two soup tickets for $30. Plus, local business and restaurants have donated prizes for a silent auction. 

13. Drink Wisconsinbly’s 5th Annual Curd Fest  

SUNDAY FROM 11 A.M.-4 P.M. | Drink Wisconsinbly Pub    

The 5th Annual Curd Fest by Drink Wisconsinbly pub is set to return to the Deer District to honor one of Wisconsin’s most beloved dishes: cheese curds. These squeaky delights will be offered to sample and purchase from eight local vendors. VIP tickets for $15, and general admission for $10, are available for purchase online 

14. Bad River Film Screening and Earth Justice Panel  

SUNDAY FROM 1-3 P.M. | FIRST UNITARIAN SOCIETY OF MILWAUKEE    

Bad River showcases the Wisconsin-based Bad River Tribe’s fight to shut down the Line 5 oil pipeline. The free screening includes a conversation led by three panelists, including a Bad River tribal member, who will all answer questions about the effort.

15. Sunday Brunch: Citywide Edition

SUNDAY FROM 2-6 P.M. | TROPIC MKE/MONTEGO BAY BEACH CLUB

Oby Nwabuzor, Hyacinth Nembhardt and Isioma Nwabuzor arę hosting this citywide brunch at Tropic MKE, which recently reopened as Montego Bay Beach Club after filming an episode of “Bar Rescue.” The brunch series highlights local businesses and encourages community engagement. Plus, there’ll be live music from DJ Lolo.
