1. Bugs Bunny at the Symphony

Watch the Looney Tunes characters go on an animated adventure on the big screen while the musicians of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra perform live. Tickets are available online.  

2. Pericles

ALL WEEKEND | ARTS CENTER THEATRE BUILDING

UW-Milwaukee theater will perform Pericles, a tale of shipwreck, loss and love across the Ancient Mediterranean, this weekend. The play explores themes that dominate headlines today. Get tickets here

3. Fall Grand Wine Tasting

FRIDAY FROM 6-8:30 P.M. | TUCKAWAY COUNTRY CLUB

Out in Franklin this weekend is the Fall Grand Wine Tasting. Attendees can taste over 70 wines, listen to live music, explore the venue and snack on cheese and charcuterie. All of the featured wines will be available for purchase; must be 21 to attend. Tickets are available online.

4. Brew City Veterans Ruck & Rally

SATURDAY FROM 9 A.M.-NOON | THE EXPLORIUM BREWPUB THIRD WARD

At this event, folks will walk 2.5 miles with a ruck (a backpack with weight) to raise awareness for veterans, promote mental health, foster camaraderie and support local veteran-owned business as a kick-off into Veteran Small Business Week. Register here

5. Cinnamon And Cider Craft Fair

SATURDAY FROM 9 A.M.-3 P.M. | FOREST PARK MIDDLE SCHOOL

Franklin United Parents are set to host the Cinnamon and Cider Craft Fair this Saturday to benefit the music students and programs of Franklin Public Schools. Shop over 90 vendors, a bake sale, concessions, a raffle and enjoy live music.

6. Clothing Swap with Awkward Fam Photo

SATURDAY FROM 10 A.M.-3 P.M. | RIVERSIDE PARK

Clean out your closet this weekend to swap and share clothing with friends and neighbors to reduce consumption of virgin textiles. Participation is free, and everyone will leave with new-to-them pre-loved pieces.

7. Turkey Trails 5K/10K

SATURDAY FROM 9 A.M.-NOON | SHERIDAN PARK

This Thanksgiving themed race is aimed for the whole family. Participants get swag, like a designer shirt and custom medal, awards, free photos and treats at the finish line.

8. The Milwaukee Wellness Market

SATURDAY FROM 2-7 P.M. | TRIPLE TAPROOM & KITCHEN

Attendees can learn about the wellness professionals in the city and get some new, locally made products to improve your wellness routines at this free market. 

9. Autumn Artisans Fair

SATURDAY FROM 10 A.M.-3 P.M. | NICOLET RECREATION DEPARTMENT

Shop over 50 vendors from all Southeastern Wisconsin at this artisan fair. There will be hand crafted items, baked goods and more. Admission is $3, cash only.

10. Milwaukee Press Club Beer Release

SATURDAY FROM 2 P.M.-6 P.M. | BLACK HUSKY BREWING

Black Husky Brewing in Riverwest and the Milwaukee Press Club collaborated to brew a beer to raise funds for scholarships for students pursuing journalism careers. The beer, an amber IPA called Off the Record, is the headline item at the release party, but there’ll also be food from Pedros South American Food Truck. Off the Record will be available exclusively at Black Husky (on draft and in four-packs) and at The Newsroom Pub.   

11. Clyde’s

SATURDAY FROM 8-9:40 P.M. | MILWAUKEE CHAMBER THEATRE

The Milwaukee premiere of Clyde’s by Lynn Nottage will hit the stage at the Milwaukee Chamber Theatre this Saturday. Set off the Pennsylvania Turnpike, four formerly incarcerated cooks set out to create the perfect sandwich, under the supervision of their hard-driving boss. Get tickets here

12. Veterans Day Celebration

SATURDAY AND SUNDAY | HARLEY-DAVIDSON MUSEUM

To honor veterans and active-duty military, Harley Davidson is offering them free admission to the Harley-Davidson Museum Nov. 9 through 11, along with one adult guest and up to four children.

13. Mr., Miss, & Mx. Trans USA Pageant

SUNDAY AT 4:30 P.M. | TURNER HALL BALLROOM

This national competition will feature nearly 100 folks from across the county competing for the most prestigious titles in LGBTQ+ pageantry. Attendees can cheer on the representatives from each state as the compete in on stage in categories like formal wear, state costume, Q&A and more. Plus, Mr. and Miss Trans USA 2023, Trey C. Michaels and Anya Marino, will be honored for their advocacy work during their reign.
