2. Hairspray
ALL WEEKEND | MILWAUKEE SCHOOL OF LANGUAGES
The Milwaukee School of Languages is putting on Hairspray this weekend. Support young actors and enjoy a showing of the feel-good classic, opening this Friday. Limited edition Hairspray T-shirts will be available at the venue. Tickets are available at the door and online.

3. “Going to Work for the Community”

This exhibit features photographs and memorabilia in honor of the late James W. Beckum, founder of the oldest Black-led little league outside the South, and the league’s 60th anniversary. The opening ceremony will feature a gallery talk with the curators to share the history of the Beckum-Stapleton Little League and how it has been maintained as a vital Milwaukee institution.
