News #1: The Guinness Book of World Records certifies bounce houses.
News #2: The Guinness-certified largest bounce house in the world is going to be in Waukesha from Aug. 13-15 at the Waukesha County Expo Center (1000 Northview Rd.).
The Big Bounce America tour is an inflatable event that travels the country. The crown jewel of the tour is the 32-foot-tall, 13,000-square foot bounce house. Inside, there are ball pits, slides, climbing towers and basketball hoops. And at the center of this massive bounce house, there’s a DJ cranking up the tunes.
Bounce house sessions are organized by age, so if you are a grown-up reading this – yes, there are adult-only bounce house sessions.

Besides the gargantuan main attraction, the Big Bounce America tour also includes three other inflatable entertainment zones: Sport Slam, The Giant, and airSPACE. Sport Slam, a new addition this year, is an arena with various sports for some friendly competition. The Giant runs for 900 feet in length and is full of obstacles for kids to overcome. And airSPACE is a space-themed inflatable with a 5-lane slide and a 25-foot inflatable alien at its enter – plus a maze so you can get “lost in space.”
Tickets start at $19 and are available at this link. An all-access pass will get you a timed session at the gigantic bounce house, and unlimited access to Sport Slam, The Giant and airSPACE.
“After the year we’ve all had, it’s time to just kick those shoes off and let loose for a while,” said Grahame Ferguson, co-founder of The Big Bounce America, in a press release.
