Quad is proud to serve as Presenting Sponsor of Milwaukee Magazine’s Unity Awards.

Quad has always been defined by its people and deep commitment to support the communities where we live and work. As a Milwaukee company, our goal is to listen to and work with community leaders to remove barriers to employment and create plentiful opportunities to pursue family-sustaining careers. To help us deliver on this goal, we have opened a new recruiting and training hub in central-city Milwaukee called Quad MKE.

As Site Director of Quad MKE, Brandon Ramey is deepening our community partnerships and making careers at Quad more accessible to local residents. Brandon is also working with Vedale Hill, one of Milwaukee’s most celebrated artists and a 2022 recipient of a Milwaukee Magazine Unity Award, to infuse the spirit of the local community onto the walls of Quad MKE.

At Quad, we remain committed to creating a better way for our employees, clients, communities and world.

“I’m excited to help bring the vision for Quad MKE to life – one focused on creating opportunities for everyone in our community.”

Alverno College is proud to serve as A Silver Sponsor of Milwaukee Magazine’s Unity Awards.

In 2022, Milwaukee’s Alverno College faculty, in a forward-thinking initiative, established a new major fully focused on its local community in an effort to educate students to be the leaders of tomorrow’s social change. The Community Engagement & Activism (CENA) program prepares students to be lifelong engaged members of their communities. Rooted in political science, this multidisciplinary program brings together classes on political structures, social issues and practical skills students will need for a life of activism. What differentiates this program at Alverno from others is that Milwaukee will be the student’s classroom with service-learning projects, field placements, internships and other opportunities designed to give students real-world, hands-on applicable experience. This major exemplifies Alverno College’s mission of intentionally creating an inclusive community that engages students in active and collaborative learning projects, fostering academic excellence and driving passion for community change.

“Alverno College is creating community connections and teaching tomorrow’s leaders.”

Joseph J. Foy, Ph.D.
Interim President and Vice President for Academic Affairs
