A daylong health and wellness festival is coming to Henry Maier Festival Park. Pulse, a free community event that will provide attendees with tools and resources needed to live fitter, healthier and happier lives, presented by Aurora Health Care and Milwaukee World Festival Inc., will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sept. 8.
Participants can engage in a variety of fitness activities, attend cooking demonstrations, hear panel discussions and interact with dozens of vendors and community partners such as local recreation programs, nonprofits, gyms, shopping vendors, healthy food brands and more.

It’s time to pick your Milwaukee favorites for the year!
“We are thrilled to launch this new free event to showcase a range of organizations focused on improving the health and wellness of our community,” Milwaukee World Festival President and CEO Sarah Pancheri said. “Whether you’re a fitness enthusiast or interested in learning how to take steps towards a healthier lifestyle for you and your family, we encourage people to register and join us as at the lakefront.”

“We are proud to sponsor this first-of-its-kind, family-friendly health and wellness fest as part of our ongoing commitment to the communities we serve,” Aurora Health Care President Gabrielle Finley-Hazle said. “With Pulse, we aim to promote healthy living and provide valuable resources to local families, along with other community organizations. We believe that investing in health is an investment in the future, and we are excited to contribute to a healthier, more vibrant community.”
Attendees are strongly encouraged to expand the impact of the Community Giveback, benefiting the United Way of Greater Milwaukee and Waukesha County, Kradwell School and Sojourner Family Peace Center, by bringing brand new items – still in their original packaging – such as deodorant, socks and baby wipes to the event, which will be included in mental health and hygiene kits. Aurora Health Care executive leaders and employees will be on-site packing the kits and will provide enough supplies for more than 1,000 kits.
