As we mentioned in the July issue, there’s a new menswear shop in town called Felix. Its offerings have a definitive West Coast vibe, but its roots are totally Midwestern. While the shop is online-only for now, its founders Carlos and Casey Lopez are experimenting with the pop-up shop format in conjunction with this weekend’s Gallery Night festivities.

Also experimenting with the pop-up format is Lizzibeth, who will be hosting a pop-up jewelry shop this Friday.

At the Felix pop-up (325 N. Broadway), which will run from Friday-Sunday, denim designers Noble Denim will be on hand (Saturday), and the founders and designers of Wisconsin-based Amos Brand will be sharing their latest beautiful leather wares (Saturday). On Friday, Felix will be serving treats and drinks.

At the jewelry pop-up (159 N. Jackson St.), Noir Blanc Designs and Cathi Henke Handmade Jewelry as well as Lizzibeth’s baubles will all be available, in addition to drinks and snacks.

Even if you’re not into the weekend’s gallery happenings, it’s turning out to be a great time to up your accessory game.
