Pete's Pops Is Offering a Very Special Frozen Treat for $1

To fight the intense heat, Pete’s has teamed with Tree Ripe Fruit Co. to offer $1 peach pops on July 19 only.

So it’s hot today. Really hot, in case you didn’t notice.

To help cool things off, two local businesses –  Pete’s Pops and Tree Ripe Fruit Co. –  are teaming up today, July 19, to offer a refreshing treat at a very economical price. Head to Pete’s (3809 W. Vliet St.) between noon and 7 p.m. today to get a fresh frozen Georgia peach pops for just $1. The pops are available at the walk-up pop window.

Along with the pops, Tree Ripe is also selling bags of its Georgia peaches at the pop-up window. If you’ve never had Georgia peaches, expect to be blown away. They’re juicy and flavorful and will make you forget about the mealy grocery store peaches you may have bought and regretted buying.

Frozen pops shop owner Pete Cooney opened the location on 38th and Vliet in summer of 2018 (after founding the company in 2014). He also offers pops by cart at local farmers markets and special events, with flavors ranging from Vietnamese iced coffee to pineapple jalapeno.
