New York Times explores why vote was down in Milwaukee district

Reporter finds North Side residents who didn’t go to polls

The New York Times has an interesting take on why the vote in the Nov. 8 election was down in Milwaukee’s 15th aldermanic district on the North Side.

The reporter visited the Upper Cutz barbershop at North 11th Street and West North Avenue, as well as Jake’s Delicatessen at 17th and North, and found people who hadn’t voted, along with one who wrote in Bernie Sanders and one who wrote in himself.
