Milwaukee Is Hosting a Major Cornhole Tournament

SuperHole is a professional competition for cornhole all-stars.

The American Cornhole League will hold a SuperHole IV preliminary round at the Summerfest grounds on Milwaukee’s lakefront in a live national television broadcast on Friday night.

SuperHole is a multi-event cornhole series hosted throughout the year where 32 ACL pros are paired with 32 celebrities to compete for money for charity, culminating in the finals alongside the ACL World Championships in August.

Country musician Tyler Hubbard, Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones, TV personality, podcast host and WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Garcia and former NFL player turned Internet sensation Anthony “Spice” Adams will be competing alongside ACL pro partners in a live broadcast on ESPN2 beginning at 7 p.m. from the Gruber Law Offices SportsZone at Summerfest. The event is sponsored by Sheboygan Falls-based Johnsonville.

The winner will move on for a chance to compete in the SuperHole IV Championship Aug. 4 in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

The prelim is being hosted alongside the ACL Pro Shootout #7, where pros will be competing for more than $20,000 in payouts. The ACL Pro Shootout Series is a group of round-limited, high-stakes, single elimination tournaments for ACL Pros that features eight qualifying events each in men’s singles, women’s singles and doubles. Winners of qualifying events are entered into the 2023 ACL Pro Shootout Championship on ESPN.
