The Milwaukee Brewers Are Bringing Back Their Trading Card Prints

Law enforcement agencies in and around Milwaukee will be handing out the trading cards beginning this month.

Due to overwhelming demand, the Milwaukee Brewers are doing a second run of the highly sought-after trading card prints handed out by local law enforcement agencies.

The initiative, brought back to life last season, aims to help officers connect with youth through a mutual connection with baseball.

“We have received such great feedback from law enforcement as well as fans appreciating the impact the Brewers trading card print program has in the community,” Brewers President of Business Operations Rick Schlesinger said. “This tradition started more than 40 years ago, and we are so pleased to expand the program to help inspire the next generation of baseball fans.”

It’s time to pick your Milwaukee favorites for the year!

The second run will be a reprint of the original comic book-inspired cards featuring outfielders Christian Yelich, Jackson Chourio and Sal Frelick, catcher William Contreras and infielders Brice Turang and Joey Ortiz.

The following law enforcement agencies in Southeastern Wisconsin will receive 1,000 Brewers trading card packs to distribute to youth in their communities beginning this month:

  • Brookfield
  • Franklin
  • Greenfield
  • Menomonee Falls
  • Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office
  • New Berlin
  • Oak Creek
  • Racine
  • St. Francis
  • Waukesha
  • Wauwatosa
  • West Allis
  • West Bend
  • West Milwaukee

Although the Brewers are expanding the program to 30 additional agencies throughout the state, many more have expressed interest in participating in the future, according to the team. The Brewers intend to expand the program further next season.
