It’s a sad day for Milwaukee sports fans. The Admirals have chosen to opt out of the American Hockey League due to a lack of revenue.
If the Admirals would’ve gone forward with their 2020-21 season it would have been without fans, which puts a financial burden on the team.

“Unfortunately, the prospect of playing the season without fans and the lack of any revenue was too difficult to manage,” Admirals Governor and CEO Harris Turer said in a release. “We look forward to getting back on the ice and welcoming our fans back to the Panther Arena for the 2021-22 season.”
Turer thanked the team’s fans and corporate partners for their help during this time.
Other teams will still participate in the upcoming season. The Admirals won’t return until the 2021-22 season.
