Culver’s is a Wisconsin institution, and you can get a scoop of their beloved custard for just $1 this Sept. 24 .
It’s all part of the franchises’ Scoops of Thanks Day, which is when Culver’s stores come together to help give back to the local agriculture community.
And we benefit too. By giving a $1 donation to agriculture education programs, you get a free scoop of custard and help a worthy cause.
One such program is Future Farmers of America (FFA), a national group organization that has over 700,000 members and over 8,600 local chapters within the United States – impacting the lives of many youth in the Southeastern Wisconsin area.
“The pandemic has made it clear how important the agriculture industry is when it comes to keeping grocery shelves stocked and providing food for our families,” said Jessie Kreke, senior marketing manager at Culver’s in a news release. “Programs like FFA help ensure that their members are prepared to become the future leaders of this crucial industry. We’re proud to join our guests in supporting these students on Scoops of Thanks Day.”
In previous years, this fundraiser has raised more than $350,000, according to the release.
