The Milwaukee Brewers 2025 home-opening game will be against the Kansas City Royals on March 31 with first pitch scheduled for 1:10 p.m.
The Brewers will take at the American Family Field diamond that day for the first time since the loss of the beloved Hall of Fame broadcaster Bob Uecker, who died on Jan. 16 just shy of his 91st birthday.
Opening Day will include several remembrances, including Ueck’s signature across the outfield grass, a moment of silence and the Milwaukee debut of the Uecker jersey patch on the uniforms of all on-field personnel.

It’s time to pick your Milwaukee favorites for the year!
There will be additional nods to Uecker throughout the game. The Brewers also announced that there will be a full public celebration of life for Ueck will be hosted by the Brewers in August with more details announced later this spring.
The Crew will host the Royals for three games (March 31-April 2) and will then continue the homestand with a four-game series against the Cincinnati Reds (April 3-6). Milwaukee opens the season with a three-game series (March 27, 29 and 30) in New York against the Yankees.
