We took home a dozen awards for writing and design from the Milwaukee Press Club this year.

Every year, the Milwaukee Press Club gives out the Excellence in Wisconsin Journalism awards, honoring press outlets across the state for writing, design and more. This year, Milwaukee Magazine was won 12 awards, including Best Personal Profile, Best Overall Design and Best Investigative Story. We’re proud to have been honored by the press club. Instead, the group came together on Saturday to plant fruit trees at the Victory Garden Urban Farm in the Harambee neighborhood in Milwaukee’s Central City.
