1. Hubbard Park
CHRIS DROSNER, EXECUTIVE EDITOR
In the interest of fair play, I hedged this in the beer garden roundup I wrote earlier this summer, but my hand-to-heart favorite is Hubbard Park. You just can’t beat the shade and … Whoa, I just realized its best asset is quickly becoming a liability as summer fades. Well, I guess I’m being indecisive again! This time of year, maybe I’ll take the direct sun of Estabrook Park. Or The Landing at Hoyt Park. Sigh.
2. The Vine at Humboldt Park
ARCHER PARQUETTE, MANAGING EDITOR
When I was a youngin’, Vine was a social media app full of yeets and dropped croissants. Now it’s a beer garden. Crazy what this world has become. Anyhow, this Bay View beer garden is one I’m most known to patronize with my associates, such as Skeezy Gerald and Remarkable Benjamin. It has a lot going for it: a prime location in a bustling neighborhood, a scenic hillside, frequent concerts and events, and vendors serving a robust menu of craft beer. A cold beer at one of the picnic tables as the sun sets is primo summer – I’m hoping to make another visit or two before the season ends.

It’s time to pick your Milwaukee favorites for the year!
3. The Landing at Hoyt Park
MELISA MACKEVICIUS, MEDIA EXECUTIVE
I love riding my bike over to The Landing. It’s a hidden gem outside the Hoyt Park pool along the river where you can grab a Cranky’s pizza or pretzel and some great local beers while listening to some live music. And it’s family friendly with lots of kiddos hanging out too. Plenty of space for a big group. And this weekend there’s a takeover by Lion’s Tail!
4. South Shore Terrace
ABBY YEMM, MEDIA EXECUTIVE
Visiting Milwaukee before I was an actual resident, my cousin and I walked from her house in Bay View to South Shore Terrace for a beer and some curds. It was love at first bite (and sip). Shoreline views and sailboats in the sunshine! Delightful.
