“We’re honored to join Christian and his family again as presenting sponsor of this amazing event that not only celebrates Milwaukee but assists organizations serving so many in the community,” American Family Insurance Chief Marketing Officer Sherina Smith said in a press release. “American Family believes in the power of dreams and we know Christian does too. We’re proud to have him on our team and support this charity event and its lasting and positive impact.”

The Yelich family is committed to the Milwaukee community and giving back each year to different organizations, even organizers said.

“The event is such a wonderful way to support our community and give back to our tourism and hospitality industry,” Visit Milwaukee Chief Marketing Officer Josh Albrecht said in a release. “The event, held at the historic Pabst Theater in the heart of Milwaukee’s Theater District, showcases our amazing venues, local chefs, and entertainers and helps to bolster Milwaukee’s dynamic live entertainment scene. We are excited to have Christian help to tell the amazing story of Milwaukee as a premier tourist destination.”

Buffalo, New York-based Goo Goo Dolls, formed in 1986, are composed of lead vocalist and guitarist John Rzeznik, bassist and vocalist Robby Takac and several rotating members. Hit songs include “Iris,” “Name,” “Black Balloon,” and “Slide.”
