The Face of Lake Country Real Estate:
Pat Bolger, Pat Bolger Realty Group
If you’ve never met Pat Bolger, you might picture him wearing a designer suit with a lavish, lakeside office to match. The truth is, Pat is not a showy guy. He’s too busy visiting properties and making deals to worry about keeping up with the Joneses or what hangs on the walls of his office. His listings are Lake Country’s finest homes with gorgeous views, outstanding architecture and charm. The nondescript strip mall that houses The Pat Bolger Realty Group office is a diamond in the rough.
When you walk in the office, you’ll find a supersized black leather couch in the waiting area and a fl at-screen TV tuned to SportsCenter. Most of the action takes place in a large room lined with whiteboards that track active listings, active buyers and the progress of sold transactions. A big dining room table has been converted into Pat’s desk, with all of his active files within his reach on the tabletop. Dozens of real estate awards are piled up in the corner. Their placement reveals that he’s a little uncomfortable with accolades. When asked if he plans to hang them, he laughs and says “No, probably not.”
Focus is a part of Pat’s master plan. He concentrates on what he knows, and he knows Lake Country like the back of his hand. Bolger doesn’t have to research the lakes. He already knows the difference between good frontage and bad, where the weeds and stumps are, and where you’ll find the best spots for swimming and water-skiing. “I do a video campaign every week featuring the best shops, restaurants, cool things and the people who make Lake Country living special. It’s a lot of fun and people are watching. We post our videos through social media and consistently draw more than 12,000 viewers.”
Bolger’s mastery in garnering a digital audience brings us back to the art of exposure, something he appears to have down, well, pat. He has assembled his own dream team of experts in home staging, photography, videography, and writing. “More exposure with quality material means more money for my clients and that’s a win.” Just don’t try giving credit to the unassuming king. “My clients are my partners. After all, it’s their home and their money. We get the job done together. Their success is my success.”

Here are the additional items where these advisers will help clients be as strategic as possible in all areas of distribution:

The Faces Of Inclusion:
Special Olympics Wisconsin
Athletes & Unified Partners Re Presenting Team Wisconsin For The Special Olympics USA Games
Familiar with Special Olympics as they may be, most Milwaukeeans probably don’t realize the city’s proximity to the genesis of what is now a worldwide movement that includes more than 5 million athletes in 172 countries.
Eunice Kennedy Shriver, founder of Special Olympics and sister of President John F. Kennedy, initiated the movement when she held the first Special Olympics International Summer Games at Soldier Field in Chicago on July 20, 1968.
Kennedy Shriver’s sister Rosemary lived most of her life at St. Coletta of Wisconsin in Jefferson, and her life with an intellectual disability is often credited as inspiring the creation of Special Olympics. The first Wisconsin state event took place in West Allis in 1969, just a year after those first fateful Special Olympics Games in Chicago.
Now, Special Olympics is a full-scale Inclusion Revolution. “Let us begin the Olympics,” Kennedy Shriver said 50 years ago. “Let us begin the next 50 years of Special Olympics,” we say now.
Check out Special Olympics Wisconsin and be inspired! You are invited to attend a free, 45-minute Revealing the Champion mission tour. Call Claire at 262.241.7786.

The Face Of Forensic Accounting:
Tracy Coenen, CPA, CFF | Sequence Inc. Forensic Accounting
While attending Marquette University, a specialty class in the criminology program called Financial Crime Investigation was enough to hook Tracy.
She worked as a financial statement auditor at the “Big Six” firm Arthur Andersen before moving to a small forensic accounting firm to learn the art of fraud investigations. Tracy stepped out on her own more than 18 years ago to start Sequence Inc., where she works exclusively in the area of forensic accounting.
Being a solo practitioner limits the number of cases Tracy can take on, but she loves the flexibility it provides. She gets to work personally with each of her clients to ensure a quality work product.
When finding lost or hidden money, Tracy is skilled at presenting the numbers in a very understandable way. The movement of money in fraud cases can be confusing, and her ability to tell a story and draw a picture is invaluable.
Whether it’s a divorce, a business deal gone bad, or a case of corporate fraud or embezzlement, Tracy can make sense of complicated financial situations and figure out exactly where the money went.

The Salvation Army is an international faith-based organization and the largest social services agency in the world. Since 1977, services for homeless and low-income individuals and families have been at the heart of The Salvation Army’s work in Milwaukee, as it helps to provide the most basic needs of shelter, food, clothing and medical attention.
In Milwaukee, The Salvation Army operates a 120-bed homeless shelter, the Emergency Lodge, which provides case management, employment services, and an on-site medical clinic.
Additional social services include: the Pathway of Hope program, permanent and transitional housing, protective payee services, emergency assistance, food pantries, and seasonal programs such as Coats for Kids, Toy Shop, Backpacks for Kids, and Feed the Kids, a summer program that distributes free lunches at sites across the city.
Case managers, medical personnel and other staff begin the process of providing each person opportunities to become healthy, employed, hopeful and independent from the moment an individual or family enters The Salvation Army’s programs. The stffa recognizes the skills and talents of each person and provides an environment that encourages and promotes self-worth and hope.
Since needs are ever-changing, The Salvation Army continuously plans and evaluates services in order to ensure the integrity and dignity of those served.

The Face Of Your MKE Photographer:
Linda Smallpage | Boutique Photographer
For over two decades, Linda Smallpage, owner of Boutique Photographer, has been the woman behind the lens creating images of Milwaukee business owners. Specializing in photographing people, she’s uniquely talented at capturing the true character and genuine expressions of each individual.
“Location, Location, Location” inspired the 2018 Faces of Milwaukee photo shoot. Over a month of photo shoots, the Faces behind successful Milwaukee businesses were photographed in a setting uniquely chosen for each portrait. Orchestrating a professional photograph, Linda is a pro at juggling all the necessary logistics. Finding a sunrise setting to photograph a truck, working on a site when a 100 children on a field trip are unexpectedly having lunch, booking a time where all 26 people on a team can be available, and keeping the lights from blowing over on a windy day are all part of the endeavors behind the scenes. Clearly the Faces of Milwaukee photo shoot is a dream job for this seasoned photographer!
Linda sees the potential of a portrait location, directs the photo shoot to represent the brand and helps people relax on camera. She’s a natural choice of photographer for the Faces of Milwaukee for her second year in a row.
The most recurring theme Linda heard from those photographed is their success is possible because of the remarkable team of people they surround themselves with. However successful, not everyone is eager to get in front of the camera, so Linda appreciates all the the trust and energy invested in these portraits proudly presenting the Faces of Milwaukee.
