The tee.

There are some delightful Milwaukee and Wisco-pride shirts out there (many can be found at Bay View’s Sparrow Collective), but an interesting collaboration has now brought us something totally new. The Milwaukee Film Festival will be screen
Advanced Style, which reveals the secrets of New York’s chicest women of a certain age. It’s on the top of my list of must-see films for the fest, which runs Sept. 25-Oct. 9.

In tangentially fashion related (fashion illustrators?) news, Mount Mary’s Starving Artists show kicks off on Sunday, and everything there can be had for $100 or less. It’s a grand deal for original art.

Lastly, Mayfair Mall is adding an Athleta store “later this year,” which will be the second Milwaukee location of the Gap, Inc.-owned athletic-wear store. The first Milwaukee-area store opened at Bayshore Town Center about a year ago.
