Discourse Coffee is about to have a ta-da moment. The company’s cafe at Radio Milwaukee (158 S. Barclay St.) is nearing completion (the projected rollout is mid-February) and the menu promises to be slick, offering the conventional and experimental coffee and tea drinks Discourse is known for, along with inventions inspired by the station’s music programming and DJs. Further, as a “hybrid” cocktail bar, it’ll cater equally to those who want alcohol and those who don’t – just like Discourse’s Equal Parts hybrid, open Friday-Sunday evenings at its Downtown cafe (1020 N. Broadway). That’s something to celebrate, long past Dry January.
