This Bites: Chef Camp and Bittercube’s New Home

Our convo about Chef Camp is the perfect entry point for Bittercube and the new space it’s slated to open in MKE later this year.

It’s This Bites, our first scorching-hot edition of the summer. On this episode, Tarik Moody and I talk about Chef Camp, a weekend event held in late August near Minneapolis. There is a Milwaukee connection, however small, which caught our attention. But even without it, the itinerary and philosophy behind Chef Camp will make you want to go.

Milwaukee’s Bittercube, which used to operate Dock 18 Cocktail Lab at Twisted Path Distillery in Walker’s Point, recently announced they’re moving to a new space (4828 W. Lisbon Ave.) later this year. Tarik and I talk about what those much larger digs will enable them to do.

And finally, we talk about new Cedarburg restaurant Brandywine, what’s cool about it and when it officially opens. If you missed on this morning (June 29, 8 a.m.) on 88Nine Radio Milwaukee, stream us here.
