Behind Riverwest’s New Popcorn Lounge
Lush Popcorn owners Marc and Marcia Taylor hold bags of their popcorn next to a fireplace that has glowing letters that read "Lush."

Behind Riverwest’s New Popcorn Lounge

Lush Popcorn’s expanded location pairs popped kernels with cocktails and hand-crafted lemonade.

Lush Popcorn is making their signature snacks more than an on-the-go food. After five years at a walk-up counter in the Sherman Phoenix, the 9-year-old business has moved into a much larger location (with seating!) in Riverwest that offers hand-crafted lemonades and specialty cocktails to enjoy with popcorn made in many sweet and savory flavors. Siblings Marcia and Marc Taylor hope to create a loungy new gathering spot – a combined tasting room and factory. “Because,” Marcia Taylor says, “that’s what our popcorn is about: bringing people together with food.”
