The Tap Yard – Milwaukee (1555 Rivercenter Dr.) is tapping a Revolution Brewing Oktoberfest at 5 p.m. If you buy one, you keep the stein it comes in (while supplies last).
It’s Teacher Appreciation Week at Gathering Place Brewing Company. If you show your school employee ID you get $2 off of a pour until Sunday, Sept. 8.

Friday, Sept. 6
The five-week Oktoberfest celebration at Bavarian Bierhaus (700 W. Lexington Blvd.) begins at 4 p.m. The festivities happen every weekend in September and wrap up on Oct. 5. Expect all sorts of traditional German food, beer and music.
Fall Fest at The Tap Yard – Waukesha (1927 E. Sunset Dr.) means an impressive tap list. They’ll be pouring standouts from Revolution Brewing and Toppling Goliath, including a couple of barrel-aged stouts, from 4 to 9 p.m.
Oktoberfest at Eagle Park Brewing (15506 Commerce Center Pkwy., Muskego) runs Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Stein hoisting, beer chugging, shotskis and beer releases are on the schedule.
Learn how to square dance at Third Space Brewing (1505 W. St. Paul Ave.). The $12 ticket gets you 90 minutes of beginner square dancing and access to $5 pints of Happy Place.
Try samples from Lion’s Tail Brewing and Young Blood Beer Co. at Discount Liquor Milwaukee (5031 W. Oklahoma Ave.) from 2 to 5 p.m.
Discount Liquor Waukesha (919 N. Barstow St.) has samples from 3 Sheeps from 3 to 5 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 7
This is the 14th year of Erv-toberfest at Erv’s Mug (180 W. Ryan Rd.). Come hungry and thirsty to the fest which includes a buffet of German food and unlimited tasting of a massive amount of seasonal fall beers. You get all this for just $50. Hours are 5 to 9 p.m., which is plenty of time to indulge.
Urban Harvest Brewing (1024 S. 5th St.) is throwing another block party. There will be live music, a taco truck and the release of Short Stack Maple Brown Ale.
Pilot Project (1128 N. 9th St.) is bringing its Pilot Project Fest to Milwaukee. Roughly 20 breweries will be there from 1 to 4 p.m. Tickets start at $37.
It’s Pumpkin Beer Day at The Tap Yard – West Bend (4875 County Hwy Z). They’re pouring six different pumpkin brews.
3 Sheeps Brewing is offering samples at Discount Liquor Milwaukee from noon to 2 p.m.
Sunday, Sept. 8
Station No. 06 (6800 W. Becher St.) is hosting a meat raffle from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. New Glarus Brewing is the guest of honor and with every pint you get a raffle ticket. The event benefits the Hunger Task Force of Milwaukee.
JR’s Pups-N-Stuff comes to Lakefront Brewery (1872 N. Commerce St.) for a supply drive from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. If you donate to the nonprofit you get a free beer.

Sept. 14: Busby’s (3475 S. Kinnickinnic Ave.) is hosting the Backyard Busby-Q from 2-8 p.m. Central Waters Brewing is the guest of honor.
Sept. 19: Flight Night comes to the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center (1111 E. Brown Deer Rd.). Meet some really cool birds and sample some really good beers. The first meeting of the Library Society is happening at Explorium Brewpub (143 W. St. Paul Ave.). Attendees get to sample a few cellared Explorium beers.
Sept. 21: Raised Grain Brewing (1725 Dolphin Dr., Waukesha) is throwing a 9th Anniversary Party. They’re tapping a couple of special releases and a few other rarities.
Sept. 28: Havenwoods Taproom and Beer Garden (5840 N. 60th St.) hosts the Beer Trail Invitational, which combines tasting beer from more than 30 breweries with hike through nature. Tickets are $75.
