Badger Beer Hour Goes Live With Vennture Brew Co. Tonight

This month’s livestream features the Washington Heights brewery/coffeehouse, as well as Wisconsin beer news, a great local weizenbock and tips on beer glassware.

You did good this week – uh, and last – shoveling all that snow. Tonight, you deserve to take a load off, grab a Wisconsin beer and soak in the Badger Beer Hour on this balmy #WIBeerWednesday.

In this month’s interview, Rob Gustafson and Simon McConico of Vennture Brew Co. in Washington Heights will talk about running a hybrid brewery and coffeehouse, what it means to be Wisconsin’s only Black-owned brewery and the saison life.

Co-host and MilMag executive editor Chris Drosner will recap the month’s top beer industry news, including an update on the 3 Sheeps Operation SOS, as well as items from Good City Brewing and Minocqua Brewing, some interesting action worth watching on the legislative front, and a few openings and closings. This month’s Beer Spotlight digs into a tasty Wisconsin-brewed weizenbock fit for a Badger State winter, and the hosts will discuss what you need to know about beer glassware. (Tip one: Use a glass!)

The livestream, co-hosted by Madison-based blogger Greg Washington and Taproom Travelers co-host Landon Cerny, begins at 8 p.m. Stream it below or at Drosner’s Twitter @WIBeerBaron.
