Any Christopher Kimball fans out there? OK, I’ll raise my hand. The host of “America’s Test Kitchen,” the public TV cooking show, has added Milwaukee to the traveling “Live!” show’s rotation. Kimball and crew are appearing at the Pabst Theater (144 E. Wells St.) this fall – November 3, 7:30 p.m. show.
The audience will learn the process of equipment testings and food tastings (these will utilize audience involvement), and get the 411 on how science experiments happen. Other odds and ends: a Q&A with the bowtie-wearing Kimball and video and audio presentations with competitive food eaters and personalities like “Downton Abbey” character Mrs. Padmore. Show: Nov 3. 7:30 p.m. Tickets ($45.50) go on sale June 19 at noon. Spring for a $100 VIP ticket and you’ll attend a meet-and-greet with Kimball, get “premium gold circle” seating and receive an autographed copy of Kimball’s new book.
