On Wednesday, Aug. 3, the first-ever Culver’s food truck is pulling up to the Deer District to peddle free cheese curds and frozen custard. The truck will be in the district from noon-6 p.m.
This promotion is part of Culver’s “From Wisconsin With Love” tour, in which Culver’s is traveling through 17 cities across 14 states, spreading its cheesy gospel. Besides the free curds and custard, the truck will be rolling heavy with cheese-related novelties.
First, an 8-foot-tall by 12-foot-wide photo booth, shaped like a cheese curd.

It’s time to pick your Milwaukee favorites for the year!
And then on top of the curd-shaped photo booth (metaphorically, not literally), there will be an 80-lb hunk of cheese.
No, the 80 pounds of cheese is not for eating. A cheese artist is going to carve that giant hunk into a Milwaukee-themed sculpture, depicting landmarks like the Milwaukee Art Museum.
There will also be “frozen custard-themed Plinko,” with Culver’s prizes for folks who do well.
Plus, everyone who visits the truck that day gets to vote for a local charity to receive a $5,000 donation from Culver’s (with $2,500 for the runner-up).
If you fall deeply in love with this Culver’s truck, you can follow it to its next tour stop – Aug. 12 in Kansas City, Missouri.
