Bringing their Texas style rock to Wisconsin, ZZ Top took the stage at the Harley-Davidson 110th celebration
like only legends can do. Delivering hit after hit to the massive crowd, ZZ Top
proved once again why they have lasted for decades. Having their sound duplicated
by the likes of the Black Keys, ZZ Top is truly a unique brand
of rock and to this day a breath of fresh air. As a photographer, I can’t help
but say I was hoping their good friend Ross Halfin would be with them, a legend in his own right. On a side note; if
you call yourself a concert photographer but don’t know the name Ross Halfin, please take your camera
back to the store because you know nothing about real concert photography as
Ross is one of a select group who invented it.

Harley-Davidson
more than made up for the embarrassment of the 100th anniversary
celebration, headlined by Sir Elton John,
by bringing a true American rock band like ZZ
Top to the stage. Though incredibly under rated ZZ Top’s music is a requirement for any true music lover, as they
set the standard for showmanship without overshadowing well written songs.
