In true Irish fashion, a blend of religion and merriment is best enjoyed over a pint. The traditional Holy Trinity is redefined as three bars: Foy’s, Gallagher’s and Duffy’s.

Foy’s is the largest of the three, with a centralized bar surrounded by wooden tables and booths. It is best utilized for socializing and flirting with lads and lassies from across the bar. Arcade games are also tucked in the back corner.

Gallagher’s is positioned in the middle of this enterprise. It has a more rustic, tavern feel with a large open room and dark booths. Gallagher’s is a good place to play some bar dice with a large group of friends.

Duffy’s is the smallest, most intimate setting with a separate entrance off of Juneau Avenue. It has tall, round tables and a cozy fireplace. Duffy’s is ideal for catching a sporting event on one of the flatscreen TVs or going on a romantic date.

All three bars offer the typical draft imports: Guinness, Stella Artois, Harp, Smithwicks, Carlsberg and Strongbow.

General Manager Michael Foy said that much of the décor in each of the bars was inspired by traditional Irish pubs. He also said customers or companies can rent out an individual bar for private parties. Call (414) 278-7033.

There will be a pre-St. Patrick’s Day celebration on March 13 at 6 p.m. Visit their Web site for more information and a full menu listing: www.trinitythreeirishpubs.com.
