Just Wright is just alright. Queen Latifah is likable enough as the good-natured physical therapist, Leslie Wright, but the film is as predictable as its title is cloying. Like all other romantic comedy heroines, Leslie has a good job, a nice home, attractive looks but no man. Then when she thinks she met the one in a basketball star (Common), complications ensue when her gorgeous but conceited friend (Patton) interferes. It isn’t until he suffers from a career-threatening injury that Leslie finally gets her chance. Wright carries a positive message about hard work and goodness prevailing, but the storyline is unrealistic and the acting is surprisingly weak from the three leads.
