8 Things To Do in Milwaukee This Week That Don’t Involve a Crowd: March 16-19

Hang in there, friends. Here’s your weekly socially-distanced round-up.

Frozen 2

The best news we’ve heard all week is that Frozen 2 was just released early. So if you have Disney+, hunker down for this feel-good sequel.

This superhero television series is based on the DC Comic Supergirl. Binge watch this last surviving Kryptonian on The CW or Netflix. One of the more recent episodes features a view of the Milwaukee skyline.

I’ll Be Gone in the Dark

A true-crime book about the Golden State Killer. This thriller was released two years after the author, Michelle McNamara, died while investigating the case.

Needing a good sociological read? This book tells the story of the eviction epidemic in America, focusing on eight families in Milwaukee.

Throw Throw Burrito

This is dodgeball meets card game. Collect cards, earn points and throw a squishy (non-edible) burrito at your opponent.

Take turns taking chances capturing from opposing players. There’s one goal. Control the entire map.

Seven Bridges

Fresh air and a long walk is just what we all could use right now. Take a nice hike on the trails and wander along the Lakefront. Turn on some tunes and let those worries disappear.

Greenfield Park Trail

Hike, walk, bird watch and bike ride on this local trail.
