6 Things to Do in Milwaukee This Week: Nov. 9-12

After an action-packed election week, here are some things to check out in Milwaukee.

1. Mary Christmas Pop-Up Bar

Halloween has passed and while there may be some controversy on if that means to prepare for Thanksgiving, Christmas and the holidays as a whole, you should check out the Mary Christmas Pop-Up Bar. This is taking place at Hamburger Marys and will be just the place to transition into the holiday spirit. 

2. Virtual Holiday Wine, Cheese & Chocolate Tasting Event

WEDNESDAY AT 8 P.M. | VIRTUAL

Join Indulgence Chocolatiers this Wednesday for a Facebook Live tasting. You can get your tasting kit for $70 at their Walker’s Point location the day before or day of the tasting. 3. Music Bingo at Red Lion

WEDNESDAY FROM 7 P.M.-10 P.M. | RED LION PUB

Bingo is a classic. Everyone knows how to play and it is a good way to spark up some fun. This Wednesday you can head over to the Red Lion Pub to play bingo to some tunes you are sure to know.

4. Wine & Painting at MKE CoWork

THURSDAY FROM 5-8 P.M. | 7311 W. GREENFIELD AVE.

Head on over to MKE CoWork to have a relaxing evening of painting. There is a cost of $25 for members and $35 for non-members to reserve your seat. Make sure to note that this event is “BWOW”, otherwise known as “bring your own wine.”

5. Virtual Stargazing with the Milwaukee Public Museum

TUESDAY AT 7 P.M. | VIRTUAL

Join the Milwaukee Public Museum for a stargazing event this Tuesday. The entire family can get in on the fun, I mean who doesn’t enjoy looking at the stars? It does cost $10 per household; however, if you are a member of the museum it is free of cost. The event will be through a YouTube live stream that will be emailed prior to the start of the event.

6. Dick Blau: Milwaukee Night and Day, 2020

ALL WEEK | 723 S. 5TH ST. 

The film Milwaukee Night and Day, 2020 is premiering this month at The Suburban in Milwaukee. The project plays 24 hours a day “emerging at dark and disappearing in the morning” from Nov. 1 through Jan. 1 in the gallery’s front window.
