6 Things to Do in Milwaukee This Weekend: March 15-18

1. Amazing Scavenger Hunt Adventure-Milwaukee

If you’re in the hunt for an adventure, look no further than the appropriately-named Amazing Scavenger Hunt Adventure with Urban Adventure Quest. An Amazing Race-inspired tour of Milwaukee, this smartphone-guided experience chock full of challenges transforms the city into a game board that your team can navigate at your own pace. Tickets are $44 per team.

Want to build a business? Learn how to bring your plan to fruition, and get inspired by local female entrepreneurs at MilMag‘s free webinar. We’ll hear from Chris Zajdel of Skiin, Anne Zizzo of The Zizzo Group, and special guest Missy Hughes, the Secretary and Chief Executive Officer at Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation. 

 

 

3. St. Paw-Trick’s Day Celebration Social for Dogs & Their People

WEDNESDAY 5-10 P.M. | 408 W FLORIDA ST

With four-leaf clovers and four-legged friends, the St. Paw-Trick’s Day Celebration has all you need for a green and golden St. Patrick’s Day. Held by Off Leash Milwaukee, the event at Lost Valley Cider Co. will have tricks and treats from Bark N Scratch Outpost, as well as plenty of photo ops for pups. The humans are allowed as well. Reservations are required.

4. Virtual Kids Ramen with Becky Diamond

THURSDAY 5:30-7 P.M. | ONLINE

As tempting as it is to resort to pre-packaged, easy-to-make Ramen, why not learn how to create the classic from scratch? This kids-oriented cooking class offered through Milwaukee Public Market and led by Chef Becky Diamond will teach your future food-maker basic culinary skills and add another recipe to your meal rotation. The online class is $15 and fun for all ages.

5. Pinto Con Tinto & Concierto with Latino Arts, Inc.

THURSDAY 5:30-7 P.M. | 1028 S. 9TH ST.

Latino Arts, Inc. is bringing the Boas Vibrações, Portuguese for “good vibes,” of Brazil’s Carnival to the city of Milwaukee by hosting a socially-distanced sip and paint event complete with wine, tapas, and live music. The event celebrates the colors of the Brazilian culture, colors you can paint onto a Carnival mask to take home. Masks are required to make a mask. Tickets are $30.

6. Girl Scout Cookie and Wine Tasting

THURSDAY AT 4 P.M. | 219 EAST ERIE ST.

This Thursday, get your troop to “Tagalong” and “Do-si-do” on over to Vino Third Ward for a Girl Scout Cookie and Wine Tasting experience. There, you can earn a badge in booze and baked goods by dipping your favorite seasonal sweet treats in their paired, complementary glasses of wine. Reservations are required and tickets are $26 per scout member of your troop.
