The scariest thing about this weekend is choosing between all of these great local events.

It’s the last weekend of October, which means your favorite haunts across the Milwaukee area are going all-out for one last frightfully awesome weekend until next year. Here’s  six ways to get into the Halloween spirit. 


Milwaukee Zoo Halloween Spooktacular

Do you have any lil’ animal lovers in your family? The Halloween Spooktacular at the Milwaukee County Zoo promises a bucket full of family fun with trick-or-treating, a costume parade and a pumpkin carving demonstration.

Milwaukee Recreation Twilight or Treat

If you’re in the market for some rec center fun like face-painting, games, arts and crafts and trick-or-treat, look no further than Milwaukee Recreation’s Twilight or Treat, a night full of family-friendly Halloween fun across three area high schools.

Spirit Fair

Catch a glimpse into your future this weekend at the Spirit Fair at the New Berlin Ale House. Fifteen of the best clairvoyants in southeast Wisconsin will be under one roof this Sunday to provide readings. What will your future hold?

Third Annual Candy Corn Craft Fair

Whether you love or hate its iconic, sugary namesake, you should still check out Brew City Crafters LLC’s Third Annual Candy Corn Craft Fair. Nearly 60 local crafters, artists and vendors will be  selling one-of-a-kind goods and crafts.

BarCrawlerz Trick or Drink Halloween Bar Crawl

One wristband is all it takes to get in to six bars for awesome drink specials over this epic two-day bar crawl. If you miss your chance this weekend, get the gang together on Halloween night for round two.

SafeHouse Bond, Boos and Booze

SafeHouse on Front Street is calling all spies to celebrate Halloween Bond-style at their Bond, Boos and Booze all-you-can drink costume party, featuring a live DJ, spooky cocktails, and three costume-contest categories to compete in for a $100 prize.
