4 Things to Do in Milwaukee This Weekend: Jan. 15-18

It’s going to be a snowy weekend in Milwaukee. Get out your laptops and your snow boots.  

1. Ton Johnson: The Laughing Tap 

FRIDAY FROM 8-9:30 P.M. | ONLINE & THE LAUGHING TAP (706 B. SOUTH 5TH ST.) 

Comedian Anton “Ton” Johnson will be performing both in person and virtually at the Laughing Tap Friday. Laugh a little and head on down (or plug in your headphones) to hear some funny stories about life from a Milwaukee native! Doors open at 7:30 and tickets in person are $20 while livestreams are $10. 

   

2. Espresso 101: Espresso Making Workshop Class 

SATURDAY FROM 9 A.M.-NOON | STONE CREEK ROASTERS (422 N. 5TH St.) 

Are you a coffee fanatic but sick of the same cup you make each morning? Stone Creek Coffee is offering an espresso making class that focuses on the concepts of espresso and will present it as a brewing method. The class is hands-on and the steps will be presented by an instructor. There are various dates to sign up for a slot and each one is 3 hours. Tickets are $60 per person. Masks required.  

3. A Milwaukee Scavenger Hunt: A Splash of Color 

FRIDAY-SUNDAY FROM 8 A.M.-11 P.M.| STARTING AT THE MILWAUKEE ART MUSEUM (700 ART MUSEUM DR.)

4. TYPE Portrait-Tangible TYPE Exhibition
