Enjoy great music, dancing and delicious food at Delaware Houses’ Holiday Salsa Social. The festivities begin at 8 p.m. with a beginner salsa lesson, followed by open dancing and a cookie contest for the rest of the night. Admission is $10, which includes refreshments. 2. Candlelight Walk

Explore Riverside Park with friends and family as hundreds of candles illuminate the trails. Take a moment gaze relax and watch the night sky with loved ones. Cozy fires will also be set up around the park for you to warm up and roast marshmallows. Walks begin at 4 pm and continue every 30 minutes. Be sure to register here!

3. Merry Mobile Music

Kickoff the start of the holiday season watching Santa cruise around Sherwood in an old 1960s fire truck, while his elves deliver candy canes in the back. District retailers will be sharing amazing deals for your Christmas shopping list. And nearby restaurants and bars will be open to serve delicious food and drinks throughout the afternoon. Letters for Santa can also be dropped off in the special mailbox outside of 4114 N. Oakland Ave., and Santa will even write back.
4. Family Free Day at Milwaukee County Zoo
SATURDAY FROM 9:30 A.M.-3 P.M. | 10001 W. BLUEMOUND RD.
Spend the day at Milwaukee County Zoo this Saturday to enjoy free admission for all visitors. Watch and learn about many unique animals as they live in their habitats. For the safety of visitors, staff and animals, the outdoor habitats are open, and a few animal buildings are open at a 25% capacity. 5. Santa Hustle Milwaukee 5K and Kid’s Dash

Show your Christmas spirit and take part in the Santa Hustle Milwaukee 5K and Kid’s Dash at Veteran’s Park this weekend. All participants will receive free gifts, a festive finisher medal, treats and more.
