5 Things To Do in Milwaukee This Weekend: Dec. 18-20

The Milwaukee Makers Market, holiday lights and more this weekend in Milwaukee.

1. Cedarburg’s Luminaries

FRIDAY FROM 4:30-8 P.M. | DOWNTOWN CEDARBURG

This is the last Friday to see historic downtown Cedarburg glow with hundreds of luminaries. The Chamber of Commerce coordinated the event, which has been going on since November 20.

2. Milwaukee Makers Market Holiday Pop Up

SUNDAY FROM 10 A.M.-4 P.M. | 2169 N. FARWELL AVE.

Looking for some last-minute gifts? Consider finding them through local businesses by stopping at the Milwaukee Makers Market Holiday Pop Up at Kind Oasis. Vendors include crafters, artists, freelance designers, performance artists and small business owners online and off.

3. A Christmas Carol

YOU PICK THE SHOWTIME | ONLINE

The Rep is offering not one, but two ways to virtually watch their holiday classic “A Christmas Carol.” One is the 2016 video of the production and the other is the 2020 one-man show. This is the last weekend to catch the shows online.

4. The Singing Santa

SATURDAY FROM 11 A.M.-NOON | ONLINE

Milwaukee’s “The Singing Santa” will be doing his last of three livestreams on Saturday. Santa will sing songs of the season with his guitar and other instruments. Go to facebook.com/singingsanta to join in.

5. Holiday Lights

YOU PICK THE TIME | YOU PICK THE PLACE

It’s the last weekend before Christmas, so we would be remiss if we didn’t recommend checking out all of the spectacular holiday lights in our area. Candy Cane Lane is, of course, a staple but read this to learn about more displays in our area.
