5 Things to Do at Summerfest This Weekend: Sept. 8-11

There’s comedy, country, $1 brats and more at Summerfest this week.

1. Jonas Brothers

WEDNESDAY AT 7 P.M. | AMERICAN FAMILY INSURANCE AMPHITHEATER

Are you a “Sucker” for good music? The Jonas Brothers are in town for Summerfest’s second weekend opening day. Jam out with them as they play childhood classics like “Burnin’ Up” and “Year 3000”.

2. Klement’s $1 Brat Day

THURSDAY FROM NOON-1 P.M. OR WHILE SUPPLIES LASTS | INSIDE THE MID GATE

Rush over to the Klement’s booth inside the Mid Gate at noon to enjoy brats for a bargain. The $1 brats will bring joy to you, as well as a local charity that will receive 100% of the proceeds.

3. Chris Stapleton

Don’t miss the beloved country artist Chris Stapleton for his “All American Road Show” with special guest, Sheryl Crow. The critically acclaimed album, Starting Over, will tune into your southern soul.

4. Summerfest Wheel in the Sky

THURSDAY-SATURDAY FROM NOON – 11:30 P.M. | SOUTH END

Hop in for a spin on the giant Summerfest Ferris Wheel and enjoy a bird’s eye view of Milwaukee’s Downtown and Lake Michigan. Don’t forget to snap a photo at the top!

5. Dave Chappelle

SATURDAY AT 7:30 P.M. | AMERICAN FAMILY INSURANCE AMPHITHEATER

End your weekend with not a song, but even better, a laugh! Dave Chappelle will become the first comedian to ever headline Summerfest’s main stage as he performs stand-up comedy at a music festival.
