1. Milwaukee Blues 

OUT MAY 2

Set in Milwaukee, this novel by Haitian French author Louis-Philippe Dalembert uses several narrators to tell the story of Emmett, a victim of police violence. The novel is out May 2.

2. The Gracious Sisters 

RUNS MAY 5-21

An archeologist falls down a rabbit hole, literally, and ends up surrounded by ancient Greek legends like the goddess Athena. The First Stage play runs May 5-21 and is part of World Premiere Wisconsin.

3. Unfinished Legacy

Streetwear designer Brema Brema is back from L.A., and he’s bringing his popular brand Unfinished Legacy – yes, the one behind the popular Bucks collaboration – with him. The flagship store on Water Street opens this month.
