Antonio Carlos Jobim’s “One Note Samba” features complex interplay between Eliot and guitarist Dave Sullivan, and the buttery swing of Ary Barroso’s “Brazil” demands your swaying accompaniment. Eliot’s guitaring is framed by an exceptional lineup of musicians, including brother Don Eliot, Andy LoDuca, Johnny Rico, Louis Martinez, Johnny Garcia and Timothy Hourigan. The album concludes with its only vocal piece – Eliot singing “That’s All.”
We hope not.
