Step into the workspaces of local artists across Ozaukee County, during this free, annual self-guided tour. More than 50 artists will participate in this year’s Covered Bridge Art Studio Tour. See the artist map here.

2. Lorde

FRIDAY AT 7 P.M. | UW-MILWAUKEE PANTHER ARENA

The Grammy-winning artist is performing in Milwaukee for her “Ultrasound” tour after the June release of her critically acclaimed album Virgin. She’ll be joined by The Japanese House and Empress Of.

3. Sukkot Street Party

SUNDAY FROM 4-7 P.M. | 6789 N. GREEN BAY AVE., GLENDALE

Make your way to the corner of Green Bay Avenue and Green Tree Road for the annual Sukkot Street Party, a community festival celebrating the Jewish holiday of Sukkot. Starting at 4 p.m., you can find rides and attractions, an LED dance floor and a lounge serving beer and margaritas. Plus, guests will have the opportunity to eat in a sukkah and shake the lulav and etrog – both rituals that celebrate gratitude, unity and Jewish pride. Get tickets online.

4. H.M.S. Pinafore

ALL WEEKEND | UW-MILWAUKEE MAINSTAGE THEATRE

Milwaukee Opera Theatre and UWM’s Peck School of the Arts are teaming up for this production full of wit, absurdity and sly social commentary. H.M.S. Pinafore is a comic operetta set aboard a Royal Navy ship, with forbidden love between a captain’s daughter and a lowly sailor at its center. Get tickets to a showtime online.

5. Jewelry Studio: Wax Casting

You can learn one of the oldest metal techniques at the first of seven wax casting jewelry studios at RAM’s Wustum Museum. This class for those 16 and older requires closed-toe footwear for safety.

This award-winning comedian is headlining the 20th annual Milwaukee Comedy Festival, which spotlights national and local talent. Doors open at 7 p.m. for his 8 p.m. set at the Pabst Theater, with support from special guest Eeland Stribling.

9. Gallery Talk: ‘The Bradley Collection of Modern Art’

FRIDAY AT NOON | MILWAUKEE ART MUSEUM

Liz Siegel, MAM’s chief of curatorial affairs, will talk about the themes behind the museum’s new exhibition “The Bradley Collection of Modern Art: A Bold Vision for Milwaukee” at this gallery talk, open to drop-ins. The exhibition, which ends on Jan. 19, showcases nearly 100 works by renowned artists Barbara Hepworth, Alex Katz, Georgia O’Keeffe, Pablo Picasso, Mark Rothko and many others. The talk is included with museum admission.

10. Bobby Lee

FRIDAY AND SATURDAY | MILWAUKEE IMPROV

Catch comedian Bobby Lee while he’s in town for four showtimes at Milwaukee Improv. Along with his frequent appearances in TV and film, Lee also co-hosts the “Bad Friends Podcast” with comedian Andrew Santino and his own podcast “TigerBelly.”

11. Spooky Sprint

Get up and get moving at Estabrook Park’s Spooky Sprint on Saturday morning. With one mile, 5K, 10K and half-marathon events, this Halloween-themed day is open to new and seasoned runners. Plus, there’s a kid’s dash for children 10 and under. Register here.
