1. Molson Coors Holiday Lights

ALL WEEKEND FROM 6-10 P.M. | MILLER VALLEY

It’s the 20th anniversary of the Molson Coors Holiday Lights, and you can check out the drive-up display all weekend in the Miller Valley. Tune into 91.1 FM and listen to holiday music as you drive along. The show plays every 10 minutes. 

2. A Very Dead Xmas

FRIDAY FROM  7-11:30 P.M. | THE COOPERAGE

Celebrate the holidays with Grateful Dead cover band Another One at The Cooperage. Another One’s mission is to pay homage to the evolving music of The Grateful Dead, so you can jam out to all your favorite songs at this concert. 


It’s time to pick your Milwaukee favorites for the year!

 

3. ComedySportz Special Holiday Match

FRIDAY FROM 7:30-11:30 P.M.| COMEDY SPORTZ MILWAUKEE

The holiday match will feature both a naughty and a nice show. The nice show is for all ages and starts at 7:30, while the 18+ naughty show begins at 10. The cast will be larger than usual with comedy elves added to carry out games based on your holiday-themed suggestions.

4. Live Music At Linnemans 

FRIDAY FROM 8-11:30 P.M.| 1001 E. LOCUST ST. 

Catch a local show this Friday with Waukesha-based Bunny Blues, an alt/indie rock band that passes their instruments in a whimsical performance reminiscent of musical chairs. Milwaukee’s Nile Club and Well+Good will also be performing. 

5. Storytime With Father Christmas

SATURDAY FROM 10 A.M.-1:30 P.M.| DISCOVERY WORLD

Included in a general admission ticket to the museum, Father Christmas will be telling stories all morning at Discovery World. You can also grab a photo with him while he walks around between stories. 

6. A Very Merry Guild Christmas

SATURDAY AT  2 AND 7 P.M. | RACINE THEATER GUILD

Bring holiday joy to your weekend at the theater’s annual holiday concert. The performance will be filled with timeless classics and modern twists that will get even the Scrooges of your family in the spirit.

7. A Charlie Brown Christmas With The Commercialists

SATURDAY AT 5 P.M.| TURNER HALL BALLROOM

The Pabst Theater Group and The Jazz Estate are bringing The Commercialists to play the music of the Vince Guaraldi Trio’s A Charlie Brown Christmas. 

8. Candlelight Concert

SATURDAY FROM 6:30-10:45 P.M.| CALVARY PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH

Cozy into the holiday with a jazz and soul-filled concert by candlelight! Listen to classics from Ella Fitzgerald, A Charlie Brown Christmas and Louis Armstrong throughout the evening. Saturday night will have two shows, one at 6:30 and the other at 8:45. 

9. A Very Merry MKE Music Night LXIV

SATURDAY FROM  8-11 P.M. | ANODYNE COFFEE CO.

Listen to classic carols and original compositions from Cullah,  Soul Patrol and Mieat at this holiday edition of MKE Music Night at Anodyne Coffee Co. in Walker’s Point. Warm beverages and seasonal treats will be available in the cozy coffee shop.

10. Christmas Pajammy Jam Party

SATURDAY AT 8 P.M. | 315 W. COURT ST. 

The Milwaukee LGBT Community Center’s youth program Project Q and Ballroom Therapy are throwing a Pajammy Jam Party on Saturday for young folks to dance, meet peers and get in the holiday spirit. There will be free food, snacks and drinks, as well as music by DJ Quan. 

11. Holiday Drag Show

SATURDAY AT 11:00 P.M.| LA CAGE NIGHTCLUB

The Tucked & Loaded Holiday show hosted by queens Loretta and Mercedes will embrace the holiday spirit in a classic late-night drag show featuring local performers. 

12. Father Christmas at the Pabst Mansion

SUNDAY FROM 2:30-5:30 P.M.| PABST MANSION

Join Father Christmas, with his lantern, walking stick and red cloak, to enjoy holiday treats, craft letters to Santa and take in rooms of holiday displays at the historic Pabst Mansion.

13. Christmas Celebration Brunch

MONDAY FROM  9 A.M.-1:30 P.M. | THE PFISTER HOTEL

Head to the Pfister for a Christmas brunch in their newly renovated ballroom. Tickets include a complimentary mimosa or bloody mary followed by a mouth-watering buffet filled with local food and decadent desserts. Make reservations online

14. ARIA Christmas Feast

MONDAY FROM 10 A.M.-8 P.M.| ARIA AT SAINT KATE

Inspired by a comforting home-cooked feast, ARIA will serve a special menu featuring garlic and herb-crusted prime rib, pork tamales, honey-glazed heirloom carrots, chocolate silk pie and more.

15. 9 to 5 Screening And Coloring Workshop

MONDAY FROM 12-4 P.M.| JEWISH MUSEUM MILWAUKEE

Looking for something to do on Christmas day? Visit the Jewish Museum and view their current exhibition, “Women Pulling at the Threads of Social Discourse” and participate in The Great Americans Coloring Project. Before or after you participate in the project, catch the screening of the 80’s classic 9 to 5 starring Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin and Dolly Parton at noon.
