ALL WEEKEND | NEXT ACT THEATRE 

After its 2022 opening in Chicago and life Off-Broadway in New York, Pulitzer Prize finalist Rebecca Gilman’s Swing State is in town for the final weekend of its Wisconsin premiere at Next Act Theatre. 2. HOG Fest 

THURSDAY AT 6 P.M. | FISERV FORUM 

Local radio station 102.9 The Hog presents HOG Fest at the Forum. With the return of original member Adam GontierThree Days Grace will headline the night as part of their 2026 “Alienation” tour. To complete the lineup, Grammy-nominated band I Prevail, along with groups Sleep Theory and The Funeral Portrait will set the energy. Tickets are on sale here. 

3. Hadestown 

FRIDAY AND SATURDAY AT VARIOUS TIMES | MARCUS CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS 

Broadway’s Tony and Grammy-winning “Best Musical” will park its tour bus outside the Marcus Center for two days only. Directed by Rachel ChavkinHadestown intertwines two mythic tales on a hell-raising journey to the underworld and back, with music by Anaïs Mitchell. Tickets to Friday night’s performance and two showtimes on Saturday are available here.

4. Ain’t Misbehavin’ The FATS WALLER Musical Show 

ALL WEEKEND | STACKNER CABARET 

Five actor-musicians transform into a jubilant swing band for the ages in this Tony Award-winning musical. This celebration of Fats Waller will run from Friday’s opening night through April 26 at the Stackner Cabaret by the river. Buy tickets on the Milwaukee Rep website. 

5. SoundBites 2026 

THURSDAY FROM 6 P.M TO 10 P.M. | HARLEY-DAVIDSON MUSEUM 

Celebrate Milwaukee’s culinary and music scenes at the Harley-Davidson Museum on Thursday night! SoundBites is Radio Milwaukee’s signature fundraising event and a multi-sensory experience. While local chefs prepare their dishes, 88Nine and HYFIN DJs will pair the perfect sound to accompany each plate. Thirteen restaurants will be participating this year, including Lupi & Iris, The Diplomat, Amilinda and Café Benelux. 6. Author Talk: Sujata Massey 

THURSDAY AT 6:30 P.M. | BOSWELL BOOK COMPANY 

Boswell is hosting author Sujata Massey for an evening centered around her new installment of the Perveen Mistry historical mystery series, The Star From Calcutta. The series brings the glamour, romance and intrigue of the beginnings of Bollywood to life. The first Perveen Mistry novel, The Widows of Malabar Hill, was an international bestseller and won the Agatha, Macavity and Mary Higgins Clark Awards. The event is free to attend. 

7. BAM BAM: The Sister Nancy Story 

FRIDAY AT 7 P.M. | CACTUS CLUB 

As part of the Cactus+ “Black Women at the Front” film series, Riverwest’s Cactus Club is screening Bam Bam: The Sister Nancy Story, a documentary that highlights Sister Nancy’s resilience in an industry notorious for silencing female artists. This is an all ages event, with sliding scale tickets available online. 

8. Kathy Griffin 

FRIDAY AT 7 P.M. | PABST THEATER 

Two-time Emmy and Grammy Award-winning comedian, television star and New York Times best-selling author Kathy Griffin is in town for the Milwaukee stop on her “New Face, New Tour” tour. Tickets to the 7 p.m. show at the Pabst Theater are on sale here. 

9. Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra: Hadelich & Brahms 

FRIDAY AND SATURDAY | BRADLEY SYMPHONY CENTER 

Grammy Award-winning violinist Augustin Hadelich is returning to the MSO to perform Mendelssohn’s soulful violin concerto. Director Ken-David Masur will follow with Brahms’ third symphony, a work so iconic it continues to be heard and used throughout pop culture today. 10. Milwaukee Admirals vs. San Jose Barracuda 

FRIDAY AND SATURDAY | UW-MILWAUKEE PANTHER ARENA 

Watch the Milwaukee Admirals face off against the San Jose Barracuda on Friday and Saturday night inside the Panther Arena. The puck drops at 7 p.m. on Friday and then 6 p.m. on Saturday. Tickets for both nights are available through the Admirals website. 

11. Yoga at MAM 

SATURDAY FROM 8 A.M. TO 9 A.M. | MILWAUKEE ART MUSEUM 

This 60-minute all-levels class will take place in the Quadracci Pavilion, under the museum’s iconic wings. Guests can arrive early to settle into the space with their personal yoga mats and water bottles. Tickets are $10 for members and $20 for non-members.

SUNDAY FROM 11 A.M. TO 5 P.M. | FALCON BOWL 

You can shop from over 20 vendors inside the Falcon Bowl in Riverwest on Sunday. This month, the market is spotlighting ceramics and clay. This six-hour event is free to enter with an 18+ after-party starting at 8:30 p.m. 

13. Milwaukee Wave vs. Tacoma Stars 

SUNDAY AT 2:05 P.M. | UW-MILWAUKEE PANTHER ARENA 

Watch the Milwaukee Wave play the Tacoma Stars on Sunday afternoon inside the Panther Arena. It’s the Wave’s “Kickoff to St. Patrick’s Day” celebration, and the team is debuting themed jerseys. Get tickets here

Zócalo Food Park in Walker’s Point is hosting a “paint & sip” event on International Women’s Day, and the theme is Red is for Woman. This beginner-friendly class includes all painting materials.
