ALL WEEKEND | MARCUS CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS

The iconic and highly decorated story of passion, unstoppable ambition and the dawn of a new nation has parked its tour bus in Milwaukee for the first of two weeks, taking over the Marcus Center. Tickets to six showtimes across this weekend are on sale here.

2. Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra: Beethoven & Haydn

FRIDAY AND SATURDAY | BRADLEY SYMPHONY CENTER

Kerson Leong, an instrumentalist praised by the Toronto Star as “one of the greatest violinists,” will perform Beethoven’s melodic violin concerto. Plus, listen for dramatic timpani throughout Haydn’s aptly named “Drumroll” symphony, conducted by 18th century expert Bernard Labadie. Tickets are available on the MSO website.

SUNDAY AT 7 P.M. | RIVERSIDE THEATER
