15 of the Best Halloween Parties and Events in Milwaukee

It’s finally time to celebrate all things Halloween! We rounded up 15 spooky, scary and sweet Halloween events taking place this week and next.

Trick or Drink: Milwaukee Halloween Bar Crawl

When it comes to bar crawls in Milwaukee, there’s no shortage of options. The Trick or Drink Halloween Bar Crawl on Saturday, October 26 features six bars, beginning at The Beer Garden (1133 N Old World 3rd St.) and ends at TRIO (1023 N Old World 3rd St.). A wristband gets you into any of the participating bars with no cover, plus drink specials all night.

 


Wine in the Ward: Trick or Treat

Put a spin on traditional wine tastings. The Wine and Candy Tasting takes a twist with Trick or Treat Edition on Friday, October 25 beginning at 6p.m. at Vino Third Ward (219 E Erie St.). Sample five wines paired with a variety of classic Halloween candies and maybe even find a new favorite wine to take home. Dress in costume, and you will be entered into a raffle for a bottle of Vueve!


Bond, Boos and Booze Halloween Party

Come in disguise, spies! SafeHouse (779 N Front St.) hosts its annual Halloween party on Saturday, October 26 starting at 10 p.m. The all you can drink party celebrates Halloween Bond-style with drinking, live DJ performances, spooky cocktails, prizes for the best dressed costumes and more.


PVB’s Haunted Party Bus

If you’re scared to go into a haunted house by yourself, say no more! Points View Boîte (1619 S 1st St.) will take you out on a haunted party bus on Sunday, October 27 at 6:30 p.m. to the Abandoned Haunted House Complex and then party all night long. The event will feature drinks, spooky shots, and an after-party at PVB.

Milwaukee Brewing Company Halloween Party 2019

For a more traditional spooky night out, you could check out this event. Milwaukee Brewing Co. (1128 N 9th St.) hosts a Halloween Party on Saturday, October 26 beginning at 9 p.m. Dress in a costume for a costume contest, dance to DJs all night and capture the night with a Photo Booth. There’s no cover and the event is open to the public.


Scream City: Fear District

If you haven’t checked out the Fear District yet, now could be your time. Fear District features haunted houses, scary movies in The Beer Garden, interactive games, food, drinks and more four days a week until November 2 outside the Fiserv Forum (1111 Vel R Phillips Ave.). Entry to the Fear District is free, but you can purchase tickets for haunted houses prior to the event.

Halloween at the Pabst Taproom: Instrumental Madness

Celebrating Halloween while listening to some great music sounds good to us. Listen to a variety of live music at the Pabst Taproom Halloween Instrumental Madness on Thursday, October 31 at 7 p.m. at the Pabst Milwaukee Brewery and Taproom (1037 W Juneau Ave.). Some of the artists include the Gnasdells, the Dick Satan Trio and Mechanical Life Vein. Wear your best costume for a chance to win a Pabst swag package!


Haunted Brewhouse: Twisted Oz

Turning a brewery into a haunted house is a creation we support. Lakefront Brewery (1872 N Commerce St.) hosts their annual haunted brewhouse experience Twisted Oz on Saturday, October 26 and Thursday, October 31 at 6 p.m. As part of the Wizard of Oz themed tour, participants get 4, 8px. samples of beer, a Twisted Oz experience and a souvenir pint glass.


Third Space Brewing Happy Happy Halloween Party

Take a twist on Halloween with a competition. The first Third Space Beer Olympics takes place on Thursday, October 31 beginning at 4 p.m. at Third Space Brewing (1505 W St Paul Ave.). The Beer Olympics celebrate the return of Happy Happy – their seasonal Double IPA. The games run for two hours, but Happy Happy will be available all night. The top three Olympics winners also get prizes!

Hallow-Onesie Bar Crawl

For this bar crawl, your costume can actually be comfortable! Put on your best Halloween costume, comfiest onesie or a Halloween for Milwaukee’s 1st annual Hallow-Onesie bar crawl on Thursday, October 31 starting at 6 p.m. beginning at The Pub Club (1103 N Old World 3rd St.). Participants will stop at five different bars, and the crawl gets participants free entrance, drink specials and an after-party at RWB Milwaukee.


Robby’s Haunted Mansion with Frank Summit Bass Team and Big Style Brass Band

Kick back with friends and listen to some quality music this Halloween. The funky 11-piece Funk Summit Bass Team performs presents Robby’s Haunted Mansion with Big Style Brass Band on Thursday, October 31 from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Anodyne Coffee Roasting Co. (224 W Bruce St.). The event will feature costumes, candy and of course lots of music to jam out to.


Halloween Trick, Treat and Play Crawl with AXE MKE, Nine Below and Splash Studio

Why spend Halloween doing just one activity when you can do three? Dress in your best Halloween costume for a Halloween Trick, Treat and Play Crawl on Thursday, October 31 from 8 p.m. to 11  p.m. starting at Nine Below (1905 E North Ave.). Participants will get to throw axes for 30 minutes at AXE MKE, play three holes of mini-golf at Nine Below and finally paint a mini pumpkin or canvas at Splash Studio. Did we mention there’s also a themed cocktail at each location?


Milwaukee Ghost Walk

Learn some historical fun facts about Milwaukee while also getting your spook on. Milwaukee Ghost Walks take place on October 25 and 26 and November 1 and 2 at 7:30 p.m. departing from the St. Paul Ave. and Water St. Participants will hear tales of haunted history, ghost stories and even recent reports of paranormal activity.


Don’t choose just one bar when you can try a bunch! The East Side hosts a prohibition-themed Halloween event within various bars on Friday, October 25 from 8 p.m. to close. Dress up in your favorite 1920s costumes for an event that “honors” the passing of the 18th amendment 100 years ago and is inspired by Milwaukee’s own prohibition history. Each of the East Side’s participating bars will host an adult trick-or-treat. The event features candy, “secret” drink specials and more.


Milwaukee Magazine Haunted Downtown Walking Tour

For those who prefer celebrating Halloween in the early afternoon, take a walk on one of Milwaukee’s most unique walking tours. For the Haunted Downtown Walking Tour takes place on Sunday, October 27 from 2 to 4:30 p.m. beginning at the Milwaukee Public Library (814 W Wisconsin Ave.). The tour takes participants to some of Milwaukee’s most iconic haunted and historical buildings while enjoying food and drinks.
